BITE welcomes one of the most prominent talents from Georgia, Tbilisi’s fixture and KHIDI resident - OTHR.

The Georgian artist has already been making waves in Berlin by joining forces with Ancient Methods on occasions like their stellar b2b at the first BITE label night at Berghain last October.

With a background as a guitarist for metal bands, OTHR’s post-punk upbringing is ever-present in his moody productions. His earlier output ranges through a wide variety of sound, from acclaimed ambient to noise releases, while OTHR’s present style is defined by industrial-oriented techno, mutated vocals, and groovy distorted baselines.

With his debut release on BITE - Scythe Of Vyse, OTHR is doing what he does best. The EP delivers five sharp and powerful industrial techno tracks that sound both harmonious and rough. Rhythmic and heavy-hitting, the record features a remix from Kris Baha and provides a variety of tools for dark, sweaty basements. In short, OTHR’s most recent work is certain to create a setting for a cathartic dancefloor experience.
